  2. Burial Rites and All The Light We Cannot See are both books on my tbr. If I don't get to them by the end of the year they will be at the top of my list in 2017. Fantastic top ten!

  6. Patrick Ness and Neal Shusterman! Two of my favorites.

I'm dying to read a few of these authors, but they just get pushed back. I need to stop doing that.

  7. I discovered Jenny Lawson this past year too and I absolutely loved "Furiously Happy". I technically listened to this read, but she narrated it which made me love her even more! I definitely want to read her other book in 2017!

  13. Nearly all of my books this year were from new to me authors, and it would be tough to narrow things down. I had one of my better reading years.
Neal Shusterman is a favorite of mine. Furiously Happy was a bit over the top for me.

  14. Shusterman and Ness are two of my current favorites for sure, though I started reading both a few years ago. I didn't wind up putting the post together, but in my planning post I had Silvera, Schwab, and Nelson too. And I seriously need to get going on some Sedgewick. Maybe over winter break.
