The Sunday Post #49

The Sunday Post is hosted by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to recap the past week, talk about next week, and share news.

Happy Mother’s Day!

On The Blog Last Week

On The Blog This Week

  • On Monday I review UnDivided by Neal Shusterman.
  • On Wednesday I review A Guide to being Born by Ramona Ausubel.
  • On Thursday we try to figure out how much discussion happens in a discussion post.
  • On Friday we read book blurbs.

In My Reading Life

Last week, I read The Boy Who Dared by Susan Campbell Bartoletti and Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. Right now, I’m reading UnBound by Neal Shusterman.

In The Rest of My Life

Five things that made me happy last week:

  1. Cinco de Mayo. Not good for the diet, but so yummy.
  2. It stopped snowing. Now it’s raining, but I did get to spend more time outside.
  3. Walking the dogs.
  4. I’ve almost finished the insane amount of reading that I need to do for my full book workshop at my next school residency.
  5. I’m very close to finishing the Unwind series.

I hope you had a great week! See you around the blogosphere!

  1. I'm looking forward to your Thursday discussion (discussion) post! I'm definitely going to be stopping by for that! Congrats on the end of the snow (maybe?)! Rain is always better than snow, in my opinion. Have a fantastic week! :D

    1. Thanks! I wondered how many times I could cram the word "discussion" into the post title . . .

    1. I’m generally terrible at dieting, so holidays totally ruin it. I have no willpower.

  4. oh I will take rain over snow any day of the week hehe I never pay mind to my diet on holidays though... I feel like one day isn't going to make a difference right?

  5. I cannot never imagine myself saying "It stopped snowing" in May because I live in Texas. haha.
It has been raining incessantly here, though...
