- On Thursday I did the Liebster Award Tag.
- On Saturday there was a book haul.

In My Reading Life
Last
week, I finished The Poet’s Handbook by Judson Jerome and Adam of the
Road by Elizabeth Janet Gray. Then I read Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing. Right now,
I’m reading The Stranger Beside Me: Ted
Bundy The Shocking Inside Story by Ann Rule.
In The Rest Of My Life
Five
things that made me happy last week:
- I won a giveaway! I get a new book.
- I ate a pumpkin-flavored cupcake, and it was good.
- Survivor started. (Yes, I love reality TV. Don’t judge me.)
- Speaking of TV, who’s watching American Horror Story: Cult? I think it’s terrifying, but I’ve heard that people who don’t follow American politics are completely baffled by it.
- It’s October! October is my favorite month because Halloween.
Take care of yourselves and be kind to each
other! See you around the blogosphere!
My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry has been sitting on my shelves for /months/; I just haven't been motivated enough to start it! Hopefully I'll feel differently after your review!
ReplyDeletemy sunday post
Congrats on the book win!!! I love pumpkin anything so yum. October is my favorite month too :)
ReplyDeleteYay for the giveaway win! I also got a new giveaway win yesterday! Rather, I didn't really win it, I just picked it up from the post office :D
ReplyDeleteAnd I also love Halloween :) so have a great October!
October is awesome, I can't wait for Halloween! Actually I can, because that would mean October is over, and I want to savor the month, with all the autumnal and spooky stuff lol. And nice book haul- yay for Game of Thrones!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week.
I'm so happy that October is finally here! Now I get the chance to read some scary books for the month!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays!
Ooo, you got me interested to check out the latest American Horror Story. I watched the first season and have been meaning to continue.
ReplyDeleteAdam of the Road looks interesting. October is my favorite month for reading, I love fall and Halloween, and I might check out American Horror Story now. It would be so fitting for this month.
ReplyDeleteMy It's Monday! What Are You Reading? post.
Spooky Booky time is the best thing about October for me. We don't really do Halloween where I live which is good as I don't answer the door once it gets dark and I hate children!I like the cooler weather though and it's an excuse for some horror books and films!
ReplyDeleteI need to check out the Margaret Attwood as I haven't read it. Not so sure re: pumpkin cupcakes - a flavour I can't get away with. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI love October too! I really liked Endurance.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your books this week and have a wonderful week. Happy reading. 😁❤️
ReplyDeleteYou read an interesting assortment of books. Are you trying to catch up on the Newbery Award books? Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI read Adam of the Road ages ago when I was in 9th grade. I stayed up late to finish it because I was graduating and only had a day to read it before the school library closed for they year.
ReplyDeleteCome see what I'm reading
What a cute blog.
ReplyDeleteENJOY your books and reading week.

My It's Monday, What Are You Reading
So will there be pics of you in your Halloween costume?
ReplyDeleteYay for the book win! I love winning books. Halloween can be a lot of fun. October is great since the weather is usually nice plus candy. It is a win-win.
ReplyDeleteI need you to show me your reading ways!
ReplyDeleteI would do anything to finish three books in a week.
If I read 4 to 5 books a month I feel like a champion haha.
I use to love Survivor. My parents and I would watch it together all the time. I need to get back into it.
There is not enough money in the world to get me to watch American Horror Story. I am such a baby, I would never sleep again.
I love that you won the giveaway that's always exciting!
