Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is red, white, and blue book covers. For me, this was a perfect opportunity to practice my bookish photography. If you look very closely at the pictures, you’ll notice that I included a book set in Russia in some of my “America colors” photos. I apologize for my warped sense of humor. I couldn’t resist.
Red, White, And Blue Books
What's your favorite book with a red, white, or blue cover?
This is such a weird thing to latch onto, but I noticed your Peppa Pig bookmark. I love Peppa Pig! I used some of the Spanish cartoons on YouTube to supplement my Spanish curriculum last year.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book with a red, white, and blue cover would have to be Les Miserables. I keep saying I need to read it again . . . but it's so long . . .
Love all these pictures!!!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love how you did this! These pictures are amazing.

Nice pictorial! As for my favorite book with a red, white, and/or blue cover... YOU by Caroline Kepnes (it has read and white cover).

Russia lol. Love it. :)
ReplyDeleteThose Schwab covers look amazing, and ooh Mockingjay. I love blue covers/ spines for some reason, so I LOVE all those together!
These are such gorgeous pictures! They're very visually pleasing. :)
ReplyDeleteKrystianna @ Downright Dystopian
oh these pictures are so beautiful :D thanks for the eye candy
ReplyDeleteRussia's flag is also red, white, and blue. As is the UK's, Australia's, New Zealand's etc. I still maintain that the Welsh flag is the best flag - we literally have a dragon.
ReplyDeleteSome very pretty covers here!

Look who got all artsy with this one! Love how you showcased your red white and blue picks, AJ!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are awesome. I gave up on Instagram, because my eye stinks and so did my pictures.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos this week!! I can see that we both had problems finding white books! XD

ReplyDeleteTina @ As Told By Tina
I like the different styles that you've used to showcase the books!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely photos. I just snorted when reading your intro, so you are not the only one with a warped sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I have any books with all white or mostly white covers. I have quite a few mainly red or blue though.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! I adored Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda and I need to get to Battle Royale at some point. I've owned my copy for years and I've seen it on so many lists this week it's reminded me I still haven't read it - oops!
ReplyDeleteI could stare at these photos all day, they're sooo gorgeous! My eyes went to This Monstrous Thing and the cover and the title on the spine. Whew, shivers!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful bookish eye candy :) Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love your pictures! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photographs, must have taken you ages to create these arrangements?
ReplyDeleteI just glanced at my excuse for a bookshelf and actually have red, white and blue spines next to each other: The Wrath And The Dawn, The Steep Approach To Garbadale and H2O A Biography Of Water.
Ahhh I love all of your pictures so much - A Thousand Perfect Notes looks gorgeous, I can't wait to read that one :D
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I think I might prefer white books but they are all so gorgeous! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt's obvious you put a lot of time and energy into your photographs! They're lovely. <3

All the pretty book pictures!
ReplyDeleteI can't think of one with a red, white and blue cover at the moment... :(
You took some gorgeous photos AJ! Love it :) I do so much of my reading on my Kindle that I can't even tell you what colors the covers of some of my favorite books are off the top of my head.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are amazing!!!! I think I am torn between my love for the Shades of Magic trilogy (the covers are so amazing and the books are one of my favorites) and Simon V Homo Sapiens Agenda...that was a great book too!
ReplyDeleteAhh, such gorgeous photos! I love how you've done this week's prompt :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your photos here, they are so gorgeous and so festive.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great month of reading in June, and hope July is a fabulous month hun.
Very cool!! I love how some of these the red white and blue elements are super subtle. I definitely want to follow you on Bookstagram!
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't I think to add A Darker Shade of Magic to my list? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to do the Top Ten tag :) I wish I had an eye for taking cool book pictures, but that's okay, I love looking at them just as much! haha Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog post
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I love how you spun these weeks topic to include bookish photos instead of just a list of books with these colours on the cover :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, some of those would work beautifully for a Canada Day red and white book list, too. :-)
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are gorgeous! I wish I could take cool pictures like this, but then again I'm content browsing bookstagram :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are gorgeous and you have some amazing book pics!
ReplyDeleteA Thousand Perfect Notes has such a pretty cover! :)

ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful! I had to double check and make sure I was following you on instagram. What were your thoughts on Challenger Deep? I had a hard time with it.
ReplyDeleteSuch great pictures!!! Love all these <3
ReplyDelete!!! Great photos, AJ! I love them all. You're really improving with your bookstagram shots. I feel inspired to join you in trying to do more of this... but I just don't own many of my own books. They are all library books!
ReplyDeleteGreat TTT!
Very nice photos. Good job with this!
ReplyDeleteSuch great photos!
ReplyDeleteI love all these photos a lot!! But ONE IN PARTICULAR IS MY FAVOURITE, I MIGHT JUST SAY. 😍😍😍
ReplyDeleteFab photos! 📚
ReplyDeleteSo many red, white and blue books!! I've been meaning to pick up a copy of Cait's book, but haven't! So cool to know an amazing book blogger is now a published author. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland!
Lovely pictures! Your Dark Tower picture reminded me that was a goal of mine this year. I'm running out of months. lol
