In My Reading Life
I didn’t
finish any books last week because I’m a headless chicken. It feels like I’ve
been running around everywhere and not actually accomplishing anything. Right
now, I’m reading A Conjuring of Light
by V.E. Schwab.
In The Rest Of My Life
Five things
that made me happy last week (in video form):
1. Have you
ever thought, I wish I could hear the
same song in 25 different languages? Well, Disney is here to fulfill your wish.
2. Are you
sick of the same old Christmas songs? Here’s a morbid one for you.
3. Do you
wish Santa was real? Well . . . science might change your mind about that.
4. Do you
need some Christmas spirit? This house has it.
5. This whole street has Christmas spirit.
Take
care of yourselves and be kind to each other! See you around the blogosphere!
Ha, I love that whole street that synchronized their lights! That must have taken a lot of coordination! Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteI am giving you a standing ovation for your Five Things. They were fabulous! Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way - I've been "working" at my computer for three days and I haven't really accomplished a whole lot of anything. I hope you enjoy the holidays!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read much myself, especially since I'm getting ready for Christmas! I hope you have a merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! Love the videos! And we're actually watching Frozen right now as I surf the Sunday Posts lol. Hope you have a wonderful holiday.:)
ReplyDeleteOh that dog is totally my dogs!! They can hear a chip crunch from a mile away! My high school students introduced me to the morbid Christmas song...yeah, they love that stuff! Have a great holiday!
ReplyDeleteYour videos are so cool, Aj, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteFreddy ate some of our smokes salmon today, and I freaked out. It appears to not be dangerous for him, since it wasn't really salty. Thank goodness for that!
Merry Christmas. Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I need a dog to eat all the snacks, then I won't be eating them!
ReplyDeleteThere will be lots of snacks tonight! I've been eating all day, all be it soft food but chocolate and cheese will feature tonight!
ReplyDeleteChristmas without a lot of snack isn't Christmas. =P
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! My house is full of snacks, but unfortunately there is no puppy to sniff around - maybe Santa will get the memo next year.
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays!
LOL - that morbid xmas song. Me too, hardly any reading at all. Happy merrymaking ;-)
ReplyDeleteA very blessed Christmas to you. Oh yes looking back at the best of reads in 2017 helps remind us of the good times reading.
ReplyDeleteI loved that Disney song. I have been reading a lot. That is what I do when stressed. I'm looking forward to the humdrum that shows up in January after all the holiday excitement. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThe CYBILS are over for me so now I can concentrate on reading just for fun. Today though I'm taking a break from reading. Happy holidays. Hard to believe it's the last link up of the year. Come see what I'm reading.
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the whole headless chicken thing. Hopefully everything got done in time and you were able to (finally) relax and enjoy. That whole neighborhood that did their lights is amazing!
ReplyDeleteAwe thanks for all the fun stuff in this post! I totally understand not having time to blog or read. I hope the last week of this year treats you good. I am looking forward to see your favorites of 2017. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI was off last week and a bunch of holiday short stories were read so my monthly recap of books read is quite long. Merry Christmas! Girl Who Reads
