In My Blogging Life
The comments on Why Diverse Books Matter To Me have
been really interesting. Go check it out if you haven’t yet.
Is anyone else’s Bloglovin’ feed broken? I follow
about 900 blogs, but it only shows me like, 8 posts. This isn’t cool!
In My Reading Life
I read a ton last week. I finished All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony
Doerr. Then I read Nimona by Noelle
Stevenson, All Quiet on the Western Front
by Erich Maria Remarque, and She is Not
Invisible by Marcus Sedgwick. Right now, I’m reading I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios.
In The Rest Of My Life
Five things that made me happy last week:
- Top Ten Tuesday. I liked learning random things about all my Internet friends.
- My discussion post. I know I already mentioned it twice, but I had that post saved as a draft for months. I’m glad I actually finished it.
- I spent some time outside playing with the settings on my camera.
- While taking pictures, I discovered that there’s a giant toad living under my deck. It gave me something to take pictures of.
- So much reading.
I hope you had a great week! See you around the
blogosphere!
My bloglovin feed was like that two weeks ago then it just fixed itself. Hopefully it does for you too. I just read I'll Meet You There so I am interested to see what you think - Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI hope mine fixes itself. This is really annoying.

My bloglovin feed is all wonky, too! I hate when they change things. I'll go read your discussion now!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hate when Bloglovin’ changes, too.

I'll have to check out your post on diverse books, it sounds interesting. Are you sure that toad isn't a prince in disuise? :P Bloglovin has been wonky for me too. They made changes. most of which are not improvements. :(
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
Lol, I’m not going to kiss the toad to find out . . .

This is my first visit here, but I like what I see....thanks for visiting my blog, and I'm curious about your books, especially She Is Not Invisible.
ReplyDeleteOff to check out your post!
Thanks for visiting!

I wish I could use Bloglovin (I used to), because I want to make sure my favorite blogs get pageviews, but it's been so glitchy every time I've tried to use it lately that I've permanently migrated to feedly.
ReplyDeleteI’m seriously considering moving to Feedly. My blog gets most of its traffic from Bloglovin’, but lately it’s been really annoying to use.

Great post on diversity, I just went over and read it. Well done. And that's funny about the toad! I noticed one living in our landscaping too the other week- and I had just been out cutting things back with the weedwhacker. So glad I didn't get him by accident!
ReplyDeleteI haven't noticed anything different with Bloglovin but I haven't been on it for a few days, I better go check it out.
My Bloglovin did that too but also fixed itself. Gremling, ya think?! LOL
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
I’m crossing my fingers that it fixes itself. It still hasn’t.
DeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Oh no! I hope Bloglovin gets fixed soon! I haven't checked it today. I can't wait to see what you think about All the Light We Cannot See. I've been wanting to read it forever! Have a great week :D
ReplyDeleteHere's my Weekly Recap!
Thanks! I loved All the Light We Cannot See.
DeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I've heard All the Light We Cannot See is good. I don't always get time to look at the blog feed, so I haven't noticed. But now I'll have to check it out! Hope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Sunday Post
Haha, I love that you found a toad to take photos of. I finally took my camera out after years of not using it and started trying to relearn how to change the settings and whatnot.
ReplyDeleteI haven't checked Bloglovin' today, but I feel like it never shows me very many posts for the number of blogs I follow :-/ I've never actually bothered to check though.
Lol, there was nothing to take pictures of until I found the toad. Now I have about a thousand random pictures of a toad.

I use Feedly to manage my blogs. I tried Bloglovin when Google Reader ceased but didn't care for it. You read a nice assortment of books this week. Come see my reading week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI’m seriously considering switching to Feedly. It seems to have fewer problems.
DeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I think blogluvin' must be experiencing some sort of glitch... my feed isn't anywhere near as full as it usually is. I'm hoping to read All the Light We Cannot See soon.
ReplyDeleteMy Bloglovin’ feed has 8 posts, and I follow over 900 blogs, so something isn’t right.
DeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I've been trying to read Nimona for awhile now since it's on my TBR list. Let's hope I get it from the library soon! Here’s my Sunday Post!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a chance to read it soon.

How did you like Nimona? I read it during one of the 24 Hour Readathons and I thought it was so fun.
ReplyDeleteI loved Nimona. It was very cute.

All The Light We Cannot See is on my to-read list and have heard nothing but good things about it. I'll have to stop by tomorrow and read your review. Have a great week!
