In The Rest Of My Life
Five things that made me happy last week:
- New Shades of Magic books?!
- Game of Thrones. Why do we have to wait so long for the next season? Patience is not one of my strengths.
- Ice cream.
- My grocery store already has its Halloween candy out. This is both exciting and dangerous.
- I achieved my goal of reading 12 books in August. If I can keep up that pace for another month, it’ll be really good for my TBR shelf. I swear the books breed when I’m not looking.
Take care of yourselves and be
kind to each other! See you around the blogosphere!
YAY for reaching your reading goal in August, AJ! That's always something to be celebrated. We don't have Halloween candy yet, but I know I have to stay far away from that once it starts.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

"I swear the books breed when I’m not looking." lol
ReplyDeleteWhoah 12 books ?! That's a lot ! My TBR would be happier if I managed to do that ~
Our Walmart has Halloween candy out and they are getting the isles ready for costumes too. They try and rush everything. Ugh... Have a great week. :)
ReplyDeleteJenea's Book Obsession's Sunday Post
Somehow I had no idea that Fantastic Mr. Fox was a book! I've had that movie on my watch list forever! And YES to Game of Thrones! I don't know how I'm going to wait!!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Weekly Recap!
Oh the danger/joy of halloween candy....I totally understand!
ReplyDeleteHalloween candy already??!!!! Don't we need to at least finish summer first? It's supposed to be a heatwave where I am this week so autumn feels very far away. Not a fan of summer. I'm very frustrated that this season of GoT was so short and I've heard a rumour that the next season might be delayed until 2019?? What are they doing to us? Congrats on meeting your reading goal for the month - that is an amazing accomplishment! (I think I read like three.... so yeah, I've got a way to go!) Here's hoping you manage to keep up the pace now that apparently it's autumn where you are! My books breed even when I am looking. I've got about 7 boxes ready to get rid of, and still no shelf space. It may be a little bit of an issue. ;)
ReplyDeleteGood job on 12 books in August! GoT and ice cream make me happy too Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI should go back and read Roald Dahl at some point, I loved his books as a kid and I could use a little whimsy.
ReplyDeleteHalloween candy... seems so weird (and early). I mean I love Halloween, but still...
So weird not having a GoT episode tonight... *scowls*
Great week you had! I need to re read Fantastic Mr. Fox someday!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!

Yep, way too long to wait for Game of Thrones! I wonder how many re-watches of my dvds I'll get through in that time...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making your monthly goal, that is always special, and so is ice cream (I cannot remember the last time I had some). TSK is a book that broke my heart, but still left me with some joy. I hope when I read your review, I will find you liked it.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost time for me to buy more Halloween candy. That first bag must have evaporated. ;-) Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI remember enjoying My Cousin Rachel when I read it, many years ago; I am curious about the movie I see On Demand and on Amazon Prime.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Here in the UK, some of the supermarkets already have their Christmas chocolate out, which just boggles my mind! I'm preparing to fatten up for the colder months :-P
ReplyDeleteOoo.. I'm looking forward to seeing the books you've DNF'ed so far this year.
A lovely week to you, and happy reading!
Yay for a good reading month! 12 books is awesome. I am but am not read for Halloween. I don't need the temptation of candy in my life right now! Have a great week, AJ!
ReplyDeleteI have never read the Fantastic Mr. Fox. Come see what I'm reading
ReplyDeleteHalloween candy is everywhere! I do love all pumpkin flavor stuff which is one of the reasons I love fall :)
ReplyDelete12 books is seriously awesome! I couldn't make that number this time... only 10. But maybe that's not so bad :)
ReplyDeleteI've only seen through Season 5 on GOT. So it's okay for me to wait. I don't have HBO anyway.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on reading 12 books. I used to read that much, but I'm not getting much done lately.
Have a great week!
