In The Rest Of My Life
Five
things that made me happy last week:
- Thank you to everybody who has entered my giveaway so far. I’m always paranoid that nobody will enter.
- I won a giveaway, and I’m getting Dread Nation, my most-anticipated release of 2018!
- I’ve been finding so many new blogs to follow recently. I guess a lot of people start (or restart) blogs in January.
- I got new running shoes and a new black trench coat. Now I kinda look like a sporty vampire hunter.
- New season of Survivor.
Take care of
yourselves and be kind to each other! See you around the blogosphere!

I've got Scythe to read and have been wondering about it. I didn't think it would be my thing but another blogger recommended it very strongly, so now I'm thinking of reading it soon? I guess Dred Nation is supposed to be pretty good too!
ReplyDeleteVampire hunter lol.
Yay for winning a new book!! Have great week!
ReplyDeleteI always get nervous people won't enter my giveaways, too. I'll check yours out and enter. :) Congrats on winning your most anticipated read for 2018! I do love trench coats, or any long coats for that matter. I feel so put together when I wear them, plus, they're nice and warm, and great for vampire hunting if the mood strikes you. :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to read Dread Nation. Congrats on the win! I am always nervous that nobody will enter my contests. I get so excited when I notice new entries. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI love your five happys!! They made me happy just reading about them!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on winning Dread Nation. Enjoy it! I liked the first episode of Survivor. I can't wait to see what happens next. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteRunning in a black trench coat? Do you also carry a scythe? :).
ReplyDelete"A sporty vampire hunter" <--this made me laugh. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI love winning giveaways, and how much sweeter to win a book you really, really wanted.
Yay for Dread Nation! I need to pick that one up SOON (I've got a digital copy). And you've got to be the coolest sporty vampire hunter around!

Oh yes, I think a giveaway is a very good way of finding out how many people actually read your blog - no one can resist the chance to win something free!! :-D
ReplyDeleteWell Happy Birthday month! Congrats on getting Dread Nation - sounds like the perfect book for you to win :)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your thoughts on Dinosaurs on Other Planets. Maybe you can convince me to finally read it. I hope you are enjoying The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. It's been awhile since I read that one, but I remember liking it. Congratulations on your win of Dread Nation! I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of a lot of these. Just looked up Dread Nation. Think I'll have to add that one to my wish list. Hope you have a great week.

I like the sound of Dread Nation...I'll sample that when it comes out and see what it's like.
ReplyDeleteSporty vampire hunter? I love it. I hope you enjoyed Scythe - I really need to read the sequel for that one; it's a goodie. Enjoy Curious Incident too!!

Ha! I thought I was the only one who got nervous about giveaways. Like, no one is going to care or enter. I think we underestimate the power of free stuff. Running shoes and a black trench... I would avoid you if I saw you out running. :) That’s fierce.
ReplyDeleteIf I were on an island I'd want a blank book, a dictionary, and selection of pencils. I enjoyed The Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. I hope you do too. Come see what I've read.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a pretty good week :)
