Welcome to Tell Me Something Tuesday, where I tell you something . . . on a Tuesday! Today, we're talking about the best book covers of 2021. So, here are my 10 favorites. I'm surprised by how many of them have people on the cover. I thought I hated "people" covers. Maybe I'm becoming a convert? Or maybe publishers are just getting less awful at "people."

Best Book Covers Of 2021
What's your favorite book cover of 2021?
I really like the cover of The Year of the Witching. It's so atmospheric.
ReplyDeleteThat Mexican Gothic cover is just gorgeous!! Great post, I love seeing all the beautiful and unusual covers!
ReplyDeleteLove those covers for Stella by Starlight and The Mysterious Howling. I'm also not usually one for people on covers, but you're right that they seem to improve lately... or maybe I'm slowly converting to them, who knows :)
ReplyDeleteI am pretty obsessed with that cover on Mexican Gothic!
ReplyDeleteI never wanted to read Mexican Gothic, but I must admit, that cover is striking.
ReplyDeleteMexican Gothic - that's a good cover although it really tells nothing what the book is about.
ReplyDeleteIncorrigible children - it's cute but sort of make me think this book is for much younger children than it really is.
Year of the witching - I don't know but I see nothing special about this cover, it says there might be a mystery inside but that's it.
My sister, the serial killer - the neon green bothers me but it's a decent cover.
Memento - not really what I would call a good cover but I guess since I didn't read the book, I wouldn't get why the cover fits the story.
All the crooked saints - it's a good cover but tit makes me think it's a dark romance
Everything is teeth - not quite sure what to think of this cover but it does intrigue me
Stella by starlight - not bad
The Essex serpent - nice patterns but I have no clue what the book is about
Things in jars - I'm intrigue b the tell but that's about it.
Have a lovely day.
Lovely choices! I liked all those covers. I'm not a fan of people on covers either, but I've noticed a shift in they style this year, and I kinda like it.
