Top Ten Tuesday: Illustrated Blue Nature Covers

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week, we’re talking about covers. I was looking through my book wish list Pinterest board, and I noticed that I’m drawn to books with a very particular type of cover. Since I am clueless about art, I call them “illustrated blue nature” covers. They’re startlingly blue, and they feature weeds or critters. Here are 10 of my favorites.

  1. These are beautiful!! I think these are exactly the type of covers I am drawn to, although the other week I read two books with amazing covers - Opium and Absinthe, and The Conjurer, so I guess I like covers like those as well. Adding The Glass Woman to my list!

  17. How beautiful. It sets a sense of tranquility and peace. My copy of The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern also has a blue cover. I actually bought it just for the cover.

Enjoy the rest of your week!
