The Sunday Post #4

The Sunday Post is hosted by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to recap the past week, talk about next week, and share news.

On My Blog Last Week

On My Blog This Week

  • On Monday I review A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
  • On Tuesday list the genres that I’m unlikely to read.
  • On Wednesday I have a DNF review of Incarceration by M.G. Field.
  • On Thursday I recap the best books I read in April.
  • On Friday I explain how I choose which books to read.

In My Reading Life

Last week, I finished The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank and Vicious by V.E. Schwab. I also started Wolves of the Calla by Stephen King.

I’m starting to think that my reading goals for this year weren’t ambitious enough. It’s only May, and I’m already more than halfway through my Goodreads reading challenge and my Popsugar reading challenge. It’s always my secret goal to read 100 books in a year, but I’ve never been able to do it before. Maybe this is finally the year.

  1. I am really looking forward to your posts next week especially how you choose your books to read. I am also doing the Popsugar Reading Challenge and am about halfway through but I feel like now I have some of the harder categories to fill. Have a wonderful week!

    1. I’m getting down to the harder categories of the Popsugar challenge, too. Finding books that fit them will be difficult.

I do a happy dance every time I get a comment. (You should be grateful that you’re not around to witness this dance. It’s truly horrifying.) Leave a link to your blog so I can visit you.
