FF Friday: Books On Fire? Yes, Please

Feature & Follow is a weekly blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

This week’s question: “Your house is burning down and you have time to select three books you own to take with you. What three books do you take?”

Answer: Is it considered cheating if I take the Kindle? There are more than three books on there.

If my house was burning down, the books would not be high on my priority list. I probably wouldn’t take any of them. Actually, most of my books are used paperbacks, so I’d want them to burn. Then I’d have an excuse to get nicer copies of my favorites.

Or, since I always have unread books sitting around, I’d grab three that I haven’t read yet. I might feel bad if the books burned before I got a chance to read them.

What about you? What three books would you take?

  3. Well, that is a legit answer :P And a smart one too! I do agree that Kindle is much easier to bring around, unfortunately I do not own one and rely solely on my laptop to view ebooks!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm following back via BL :) Have a wonderful weekend.

I'd agree with taking my Kindle! I love it and it has hundreds of books on and it can carry so many more. I know what you mean about wanting nicer copies of your favourite books, I feel that way about a few, especially if the covers in a series don't match! Great answer! x

  9. I'd be taking my Kindles for sure. They were expensive and I'd never be able to replace them. Unless I won the lottery.

  10. Well since my mom would take care of the dogs and my sister would get her daughter, I would be grabbing as many of my babies as possible! LOL! The kindle would get tossed out the window too! I have a new plan now! I'm using the bookcases in front of my window as a battering-ram to get the window open and then push them into the safe zone, then go back for more books! LOL!

Thanks for visiting and following my blog! Returning the follow!

    Have a GREAT day!
