Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday!
Today, we’re talking about beautiful book covers. I love animals, so of course
books with nature on the covers capture my attention. Here are 10+ of my
favorite animal covers. Every one of these covers made me stop scrolling, read
the synopsis, and add the book to my wish list. This is how you design an animal cover, people! Click the title if you want to see the book's synopsis.

These are stunning. I love them all, but I think I love the Shaun Tan cover best.

Elatsoe is so pretty, while Cannibalism: A Perfectly Natural History is creepy. I always loved that Lawson cover. I have picture of Sloth with the cutout from BEA. That big fish is impressive too.
ReplyDeleteFuriously Happy has me curious about why a racoon?

ReplyDeleteThe cover of Furiously Happy always, always makes me laugh. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Pull of the Stars made my list this week too. It's such a gorgeous cover.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great series of book covers! I have only read Elatsoe from your list though.
ReplyDeleteI loved Once Upon A River!
ReplyDeleteOkay I am mad that I love The Pull of the Stars so much, because BIRDS but here we are. (Incidentally, it sounds really good and now I want to read it.) Also like that cover of Leave the World Behind, I hadn't seen that one before, it's cute! (Another one I'd like to read, tbh.) Furiously Happy is such a fun one too, and fine, that is another one on my TBR, so there's that. Great choice, I am also morbidly curious about that cannibal frog situation 😂
ReplyDeletenow I will have to go searching through my books for a favorite animal cover :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for anything with wolves on the cover!! Even if it's not about wolves ... the marketing team will lure me just by putting a wolf on the cover. Damn them.
ReplyDeleteA few of these I've read or they're on my TBR. I'm really looking forward to reading Elatsoe! Lovely list!

I do love covers that feature animals. I like this cover of Cannibalism a lot more than the one that is on my book.
ReplyDeleteThese are some great covers! I hadn't seen that version of Pull of the Stars, I love it. Furiously Happy is fantastic, I just read Jenny Lawson's new book and highly recommend it. I'm reading Elatsoe for book club this month and hear great things about it.
