I’m not even sure what qualifies a book to be an #OwnVoices book. :/

Aj @ Read All The Things!Aj @ Read All The Things!https://www.blogger.com/profile/02860483414620371093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8193309628838073849.post-13023866132488763792016-07-13T06:19:12.512-06:002016-07-13T06:19:12.512-06:00I love the cover! But then yes, it was pretty obvious what had happened (thought I didn't get what had happened at the bridge until we were told). My confusion was that the book was on some #Ownvoices #WNDB lists, as the author is biracial, but it was set in such a privileged, white world. I had no idea this was a book about such a serious topic. It does sound interesting, but I would hate reading something so predictable. :/ Great review!

Tracy @ CornerfoldsTracy https://www.blogger.com/profile/10715236765292209452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8193309628838073849.post-15188499302581637302016-07-11T11:12:41.358-06:002016-07-11T11:12:41.358-06:00I actually haven't been able to read so many g...I actually haven't been able to read so many good werewolf books which is actually quite a shame really... but it seems like this one does address a serious topic and yet at the same time just wasn't engaging enough.
