I love both of those statements. I am not sure about this one though since you said it does slow down at times and the characters are flat. For me, the hardest to get through was the first chapter or two. It often takes me a second to catch on in books with heavy slang. After around 25% or so, however, it really did pick up in pace and action.<br />Anyway, nice review! You hit on just about everything I felt about the book as well. :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8193309628838073849.post-34411530997511886282016-01-22T12:07:12.231-07:002016-01-22T12:07:12.231-07:00As someone who is married to a sailor that works o...As someone who is married to a sailor that works on oil tankers, this one has my full attention! I am so excited every time I come to your blog because I know you'll probably have reviewed some awesome book I've never even heard of. This one sounds amazing! I love the idea of a dystopian book that's really just about a normal person and not superman. That is mainly the whole of dystopian novels, in a sense. The book sounds very interesting. Good review. The So. Okie Bloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15752051811890375670noreply@blogger.com
